INTRODUCTION
 
Over the last two weeks I have considered the current global protests and civil unrest from a particular perspective – namely, in terms of the ‘underlying psychology’ or a ‘spiritual’ perspective.
 
I have taken this approach, because I feel that given the political, economic and social environment and given the seriousness of these events a ‘deeper’ language of discourse is required.  This language is that which we could conveniently style the ‘spiritual,’ ‘metaphysical’ or ‘transcendental.’  However, it has been my intention, to apply these ideas directly, make them central  to the discussion of the ‘crisis,’ we are witnessing and also eventually central to any proposed solution.   
 
Last year, I co-authored an article with ‘The Urban Hermit’ - titled ‘(1) 'Spiritual Technology'  (2) The Coming 'Spiritocracy' (3) 'Spirito-cratic' Communal Systems.’  The article  discussed the subject of ‘Spiritual Technology,’ and the natural and evolutionary development of ‘Spiritocracy’ and ‘Spirito-cratic,’ human social systems.  It also explored the issues that Humanity currently faces, as demonstrated by the global protests.  This article will draw upon the ideas explored in that article.
