Principle:

Sustaining life and health can be seen in terms of a 'simple calculus.' 

One should take by whatever means possible, more of the Life Force energy than is expended/used by the body/organism.  If this simple principle is understood then the practices we engage in which we frequency refer to as healthy practices or healthy choices will make sense.
